Classroom corners
The five corners below are always available during Montessori work time, and our directresses continually adapt them to what the children are ready for:
- Practical Life — 11 dressing frames (zippers, buttons, laces, buckles, hooks & eyes, Velcro), pouring and transferring work, and a washstand for hands-on washing.
- Sensorial — the Pink Tower, Broad Stair, Knobless Cylinders, Geometry Cabinet, Colour Tablets, Sound Boxes, and more of the classic Montessori sensorial materials.
- English Language — Sandpaper Letters, Movable and Printed Alphabet, Metal Insets, phonics boxes, and graded reading folders.
- Mathematics — the full Montessori decimal system, bead chains, Seguin boards, and materials for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, all built from concrete, hands-on work.
- Cultural — the Botany Cabinet, globes, land-and-water forms, and a puzzle map of the world.
We also keep a rotating Book Corner, refreshed fortnightly, including materials from World Book's Early World of Learning (EWOL) series.
Group activities
Beyond individual work, children come together for:
- Chinese language

- Creative art, cookery, and music & movement
- A character-building programme
- "Sound of the Week" (covering 40 of English's 44 speech sounds)
- Thematic Maths (Montessori Centre International's curriculum)
Outdoor programmes
- Field trips to farms and places of interest
- Neighbourhood walks
- Outdoor activities at Punggol Park
- Playground time during Playground Weeks (a five-day week without any large group gross motor activity scheduled)
